Kilmacanogue and District Horse Show Society

Sponsor Information

This year the Kilmacanogue and District Horse Show Society will host its 48th Show on Saturday 27th July 2019 in Monastery , Enniskerry.

Founded in 1972 the main purpose of the Show was to raise money for charity and in the beginning the funds were targeted towards the purchase of a mini-bus for Duffcarraig House in Wexford.

Having achieved that goal proceeds were then directed to mainly local charities and recently we have supported Newcourt School in Bray, the Charabanc Enniskerry - a caring resource for the elderly, the Irish Horse Welfare Trust, DSPCA, Riding for the disabled amongst others. To date the Show has raised well over €250,000 for Charity but we could not have achieved this without the generosity of our sponsors, spectators, exhibitors and friends.

The Kilmacanogue Show is a great family day out and the children's Pony classes are the highlight of the year for many local children.

We also attract entries from near and far for our Showing Classses which include Irish Draught Horses, Hunters, Connemara Ponies and Miniature Horses and Ponies. Also on the day there will be Carriage Driving, Working Hunter competitions, a Sheep show and Photography classes plus the very popular family Dog Show.

For children there will be Pony rides, face painting and other activities and for spectators there is our trade stands area for browsing or buying food, goods or crafts from many local enterprises.

We would like to thank you for your continued support and we are hoping that you would be interested in sponsoring our Show in 2019. Individual classes may be sponsored or we can offer advertising space around the Show grounds on the day. Prizes in kind or any donations would be most acceptable. We can also add a link to our website from the Sponsors section of our website.
